YALU

live

Yalu (Federico De Lellis) is an Italian electronic musician and computer scientist bridging traditional instruments with experimental sound design.

Federico De Lellis applies a rigorous academic background to the emotional core of electronic music. His performance style is strictly "here and now," informed by his research into algorithmic composition and computational creativity. Rejecting pre-recorded sets, he constructs unique, immersive sonic architectures in real-time, relying exclusively on hardware. These hardware-only live sets fuse improvisation with raw, hypnotic techno rhythms.

He founded Morph, an eurorack modular company based in Italy, for which designs, develops and assembles modules and instruments in order to support other musicians and his own way of creating music.
